Hello my lovelies. It has really been a hot second. I started the blogging challenge in July and was planning to post everyday and it just did not happen. I went through a lot this past couple months. I went through a bad break up in July which was the main reason I stopped posting. I had been dating the guy for a year and a half and he dropped me out of nowhere like it was nothing. It hurt extremely bad. He ended up not being civil, blocking me on everything and worst of all, he’s my neighbor. It makes for some awkward circumstances. But anyways, I’m back and better than ever.
At the time of my break up, probably about a week after, I started a new job and met this guy who quickly became my best friend. We talked constantly and we just had this sort of spark. It was amazing and it really helped me with my break up. We worked together everyday for about three weeks and then he ended up moving four hours away for college. His last day, he asked me if I was able to hang out any that week before he left and we ended up going to the river and hanging out and it was honestly amazing. It was one of the best experiences in my life. It was so adventurous and out of my comfort zone but with him it felt right. He was such a sweet heart and I miss him.
But anyways, I just to say for anyone going through a break up, I’ve been there and I’ve lived it. I does get better and you need to stay busy. I don’t mean you have to get out your house and go out all the time with friends, you could just stay at home and read or draw, maybe even learn a new skill. And always remember that it’s their loss, not yours. You deserve someone who deserves you. You’re a catch and anyone would be lucky to have you. Date someone who is head over heels for you and is in love with you. Find someone who gives you the feeling you’ve never experienced before.
I will be back to posting regularly starting next week Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Thanks for sticking with me.
Hello gals. Long time, no see. I uploaded a video to my YouTube channel so I highly recommend checking it out (: I will be posting regularly shortly!
For the past few months, I have really enjoyed blogging and I have had so much great feedback from you guys. I was wondering if you guys would even be interested in me doing a YouTube and would you even watch it. Please comment down below if you’re interested and some video ideas you all would be interested in watching.
As most of you probably know, I have very dry, flakey skin and that does not go well when wearing foundation. I have found out overtime that I can wear a couple of foundations without it looking horrific. If you’re like me and have this skin issue, I know whatbyou go through and hopefully you’ll try out some of these.
Mary Kay CC cream SHADE- LIGHT:
This is a great light coverage foundation and it blends out to look natural and beautiful. I wear this when I am looking for a light, natural finish mostly in the summer. Another great thing about this is that it has SPF which is always a bonus!
FitMe Dewy + Smooth SHADE- 225:
This is another foundation I tend to wear most days because I love the finish it has. It is dewy and gives you this overall sheen that looks beautiful in the summer. And, of course it has SPF in it which makes it even better. If you’re on the oily side, they also make a Matte version of this foundation.
What’s your go-to favorite foundation for your skin type? Comment down below so hopefully I can check them out!
I decided to break this one down into two categories: drugstore and highend.
Drugstore: My favorite drugstore makeup brand has to be Maybelline. I love all of their products such as mascara, highlight, and foundation. With my skin being super sensitive, it is hard for me to find makeup that doesn’t break out my skin. The dewy formula in FitMe is my favorite in the summer time when I wear makeup. The falsies mascara is one of my all time favorites too.
Highend: Honestly I don’t use a lot of highend products because I don’t want to spend a lot of money on that might not agree with my skin. If I had to choose a brand, it would probably be MAC just because I’ve used their products repeatedly and it does not mess up my skin. I love their concelear and mascara. I highly recommend them for dry skin.
What are yalls favorite makeup brands? Comment down below and let me know!
I learned about makeup a lot from my mom and grandmother. I also danced since I was little and learned from stage moms. I tend to wear more of a natural look which includes mascara, bronzer, and highlight. I also take art so I think that helps with doing makeup. I do a lot of makeup on my friends and we always share makeup tips.
I’d love to experiment more with makeup and go out of my comfort zone. I’m really interested in makeup and I do read makeup blogs and watch YouTube videos. My favorite YouTuber is Rachhloves. Her videos are very informative and creative.
